Some activities may be changed if dependant on weather conditions. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance to be paid no later than 28 days prior to arrival.

Christmas Eve - Your arrival
Welcome to a wonderful Christmas.
Once you have unpacked and relaxed, wrap up warm
and make your way outside to hear the village choir
sing their favourite carols in the community garden
whilst enjoying a glass of mulled wine with a warm
mince pie.
A storyteller awaits inside to read the classic verse
‘Twas the night before Christmas’, then enjoy a hearty
meal in either the ‘Osprey bistro’ or ‘Capercaillie
restaurant’ For those who wish to, we will then make
our way by torch-lit procession to the church for the
Christmas Service
Christams Day
A full Scottish breakfast on Christmas morning, then open
the presents under the tree.
A Champagne reception awaits you whilst our pianist
plays carols in the foyer (feel free to sing along!) and we
will serve a sumptuous 5 course meal at 1pm.
then enjoy a family movie, play a board game, curl up
with a book or simply relax.
A light dinner will be served in the evening. will be served in the evening.
Boxing Day
Start the day with a hearty breakfast then, (for those
who are feeling energetic) take a guided walk around
the area taking in the fresh air and stunning scenery.
For those wishing a less strenuous day, make use of
our comfortable lounge and bar area. The day is
yours to enjoy.
A pool competition has been organised for the
afternoon if you wish to join in or you can simply
relax until dinner is served that evening.
After dinner, enjoy a malt in the bar or test your wits
in our ‘Quiz Night’.
27 December
After enjoying another of our satisfying breakfasts,
you can head for home, taking with you happy
memories of a magical Christmas.
Hogmanay 31st December
A warm welcome awaits you at ‘The Boat Hotel’.
Dress is ‘Black-tie’ for a champagne reception and
canapes before your six course ‘Gala dinner’.
A Piper will see in the ‘bells’ as you enjoy a
complimentary Single Malt, then dance into the wee
small hours with our resident band.
A trip on the Strathspey Steam Railway has been
organized for you. A hearty three course meal will
be served on the 30th of December or 2nd of
January, depending on your day of arrival.
New Year’s Day 2008
You’ll be pleased to hear breakfast will be served slightly
later than usual today, followed by a guided walk in the
area, to take in the stunning scenery and some fresh air
to clear the head before tonight’s festivities.
If that sounds too energetic for you,
just relax in the hotel with a good book or a movie.
A 5 course meal will be served tonight as you need to be
in good form to join in the Scottish country dancing with
our Ceilidh band.
The last morning
After enjoying another of our satisfying
breakfasts, you can head for home,
taking with you some great memories.
